Juliez Andrewz is an alternative rock band based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Juliez Andrewz has a similar sound to Syd Barrett and Stone Temple Pilots. They have enjoyed performing in the Calgary area and have performed at the World-famous Whisky-a-Go-Go twice.
'Something From Nothing' is the first song the band has written with the new lead singer. The experience was a fast-paced writing/recording sessions full of fresh, fuelled-up energy, according to Mac. "It's music to dance to! It's music to sing with; it tells stories that you can relate to. It's a melody that sticks to your head. It's just good vibes, banger tracks!" he said.
It features their new lead singer Jon Mac collaborating with guitarist Jed Tyler to create a meaningful message. "The words are written from the perspective of a person stuck at the bottom, watching his friend climb up the ladder to the top of success," Mac said. "To gain success, we sometimes lose the relationships we had when we are at the bottom. This song is that person longing for the day's their friend was sitting in the hole with them, but also reflecting in awe of their upward climb."
The band plans to record a great album to tour with and create music videos soon.
